Exclamation Yahoo Testing Google Ads In Search Results

In another interesting layer to the drama happening at Yahoo, they've announced today that they will be doing a limited test of Google Adsense ads in Yahoo search results. Yahoo continues to push forward with new projects and partnerships despite Microsoft looming on the horizon.

So I wonder if Google ads will perform better on Yahoo than Yahoo ads perform on Yahoo, hmmm.

Vance,

I think that's a large part of it. From what I've been seeing, Yahoo is trying to stall if not stop the Microsoft bid and maximize stockholder value by testing partnerships like this. The test is only supposed to last about 2 weeks and will only impact about 3% of search results. Yahoo declined comment on what they plan on doing after that.

I read this today morning and thought how far Yahoo would go to stop the Microsoft bid. Right now they are trying to find all available means to get them out of this hostile take over bid.
