Default Who does everyone think so far?

I have worked with a few clients on getting an Amazon Webstore started. I am really impressed so far with what our designers and store programming team have done with the Webstore platform.

What are your thoughts on Webstore?

We are thinking about going multichannel with Amazon. Any example stores out there you could point me to?

I also was giving thought to multichannel with Amazon, mainly because they keep contacting me asking. They sent me this huge packet of info.. confused the heck out of me, but I was wondering.. anyone out there have Yahoo and Amazon running... was it a lot of work? Amazon looked like I needed to add a lot of other info to my products. Any fellow Solid Cactus people that know me.. you know what I do with a packet of info....
I try for a three pointer from my desk to my garbage can.. all joking aside... Amazon would be good for me, but is the extra work worth it?? I mean I hate to sound stupid, but would double exposure really bring that many more orders, or just more work? Thoughts please...
Thanks!
Pam

Hey Pam, Jeff from Solid Cactus here. If it makes you feel any better, I've encountered this question quite a few times, so you're not the only one. Before we jump to a conclusion, we really need to determine what your goals are for the new store. For me to start listing all the pros and cons here would not be practical and probably put the moderator to sleep. However, I will put you in touch with a Solution Advisor who can suggest the best option for your need.

I'd be curious to talk with someone about this too, there is very little on Amazon for my niche and the only store on there selling surf-related products is killing it. I know because my roommate is the salesperson for some of their products!

Does SC help with the Amazon store stuff? Someone get with me if so! (Jeff?)

Robb - Solid Cactus is an Amazon Webstore Designer and can certainly help you get up and running on that platform in addition to your Yahoo! Store. Having an Amazon Webstore in addition to your Yahoo! Store allows you to easily get your products into Amazon.com for sale. You can learn more about the platform and our packages by going here:

Solid Cactus Amazon Webstore Offerings

Then of course, feel free to contact your EC to get rolling with one!

Hey Robb!

Glad to hear you're interested in Amazon! I let your EC know, so he should be contacting you, but feel free to bug him about Amazon.

If you have any specific questions about the platform, please let us know!
