Default Order Motion / Cactus Complete

Is anyone here using Order Motion / Cactus Complete?

I am just signing the paperwork to move to Order Motion. Any experiences you have had with the implementation or with using it would be great!

Thanks!

Hi Nick,

I've actually done the trainings for Solid Cactus when we supported CCC. What type of questions do you have about the integration process??

Hi Jennifer,

I have a couple of questions - mainly on the idea of outsourcing my day-to-day administration, including:

1) Integrating Order Motion with Solid Cactus Call Center - what modules or portions of Order Motion work well with Call Center services? How would you go about this integration?

2) Integrating Order Motion with QuickBooks - does anyone have real world experience with this? How much work will it save me? Is it worth the effort?

I am so excited to be able to have professional services and tools to help me with the day-to-day workings of my company! I just am having a hard time in knowing where to start and what to hand off.

Thanks!

Hey Nick,

I can give you a few answers.
1) All parts of OM work AMAZINGLY with Call Center. The setup for us is simple. We use a Cisco Call Manager system, and we can tie OM into the phone system really well.
2) The OM integration with Quickbooks is subpar. The truth is that the OM integration is usually sufficient, but people always expect it to do more. In reality, OM will have all the customer information - there is no need to duplicate that in two places. You would use QB for payables. All that is necessary is journal entries between the two. I think where the really complicated part comes in is - if you do not have an accounting background, it is very hard to understand what it is you are actually doing.

Jennifer can probably chime in more...

Hey Nick,

1) Call Center, yes we use the cisco call manager which ties in with OrderMotion, but you would also want to use the telemarketing scripts on OrderMotions side to keep all of the reps consistant in what they say throughout the order process.

2) QuickBooks: (In addition to what Joe has replied) Integrating with Quick Books can be really expensive with little benefit. Order Motion stores aggregate data (high level) about your daily sales vs. cost of goods etc. Most clients prefer to just input the daily sales figures into QB for cash flow reasons and if they have transaction level questions, look up the order in OM. There are two very helpful reports in OM, the Daily Sales Report and the Daily Accounting Statement which will give you the big numbers to keep the bottom line up to date in OM. Once you are in your OM account, you can check their help file for further information on QuickBooks.

If you have any other question please let me know.

Thank you!!
