After their last update, we saw changes in how our ads were showing across a lot of industries. This latest update is sure to mix things up again! In the past, the CTR that was used to determine your quality score was given the same weight no matter what position your ad showed in. However, it's pretty common for ads in the top positions to have a better CTR since they are more prominent on the page. Now CTR & ad position will both be taken into account when determining quality score. There are different CTR expectations for ads in lower positions, so this should have positive effects for your quality score!
