Many new and exhisting users for PPC, have questions about using negative keywords, and what in fact they are. In short - they can bring more qualified traffic to your site instead of traffic alone.
For example, if you are a company that sells chocolate - you should potentially add verizon or varieties of verizon cell phone as negatives since verizon sells a phone called the "chocolate"). Here is a great link to give more insight into the use and effectiveness of negatives - check it out! ![]() Inside AdWords: Everything you ever wanted to know about negative keywords |

Great tip Jackie!
![]() I can't stress the importance of negative keywords enough. If you're not using them across all your PPC accounts (Google, Yahoo & MSN all have negatives), then you're paying for more than you have to! Whatever tools you use for keyword research will give you a good idea of irrelevant terms to block.
