Hey there!
Wow. There's not much to suggest for SpyTown.com! Seriously- your site is a true, shining example of how to do things in ecommerce. You seem to have all the right confidence builders in place, as well as have all the right features to help users navigate through your site easily. The expanding nav works real well to tighten up your navigation- you have so many products so this is a smart way to keep things organized, as well as down to your item pages, with the tabbed info-- great way to give all the information needed to make the buying decision in a neat and organized fashion. I also like that you have content on a lot of your section pages. Very good for SEO, too! You have great calls to action on your homepage, with your best sellers and hot new items. I love the use of video on your homepage, as well. I'd consider looking into Mini Cart or Snap Shop, two innovative SC features that it looks like you do not have yet... Your About Us page is great- maybe tell a little more about your company story, show pics of the owner/retail store, etc. Really- I am grasping for suggestions. Maybe a blog- to help with SEO as well as communicate and educate your visitors? The only other thing I would consider would be to tighten up your main categories a little bit more so there is less scrolling on the homepage. Other than that- kudos! Oh- one teeny thing- in your shell, Demo's should be Demos. Thanks for your feedback to everyone else- it's great to have you active on the forums! Donna

I guess you didn't like my open feedback on Spytowns terrible customer service and had my previous post taken down. Apparently taking time to hide honest feedback is more important than taking the time to return calls and emails to customers.

The reason we deleted this post was because this is a board for e-commerce professionals to exchange feedback on web design/layout/etc. This is a not a site where people post shopping experiences.

Here's my criticisms:
- Banner is too much, and it is animated. Not good. - Icons in the left navigation needs to be replaces - simplify it. - MP3 intro video in the main page - bad idea. Use flash instead. |
