Default Sharing Fradulent IP Adresses

I am wondering is Solid Cactus would be comfortable hosing a fradulent IP adress section on the forum. I know this could be a sticky subject as suing for slander could be an issue here. I have begun sharing some of my fraudulent finds with Candy Pam and Vance. if this is not a comfortable place from Solid cactus viewpoint might you sugest a venue for sharing this info ?

Any other merchants interested in this info ?
Thanks Karl

I think it's a good idea and would benefit several merchants, but I would wait for the OK from Scott or Joe before posting any information...as you said, it could be considered slander.

I will await the blessing someting to really look over legally. We might have to phrase it Potential Fraudulent IPS or someting to the effect of not sure but be careful.

Hi Karl:

I don't think we would be comfortable running a thread like that at this time, based on some of the issues already discussed above, but we will take a look and see. I will keep you posted if we change our position on that.

Otherwise, I owe you an email and you will be hearing from me soon. Talk to you in a bit!

Jonathan

Jon -
how about charging a small fee like $5 a month and have a password sign in for these fraud numbers/names area and host it somewhere else?.. maybe we would then sign a waiver you draw up releasing SC from anything legal?
If it states possible fraud... that wouldn't be a commit to anything legal in court would it?

I think this would be very popular thing! I bet everyone would lineup for it!

Cripe the charge card companies are useless with any help to us... but a friendly gathering sharing area might just stop a lot of fraud.
Thoughts?????
Pam
