Hey Vance,
Maybe this is what you would need to do. We ship a ton of orders to the Military via US Postal, and the drop down states that choice for them to choose, I don't have it labeled as USPS because a lot of regular customers would choose it and we only ship Military that way, UPS to 99% everyone else but... when we get customers in Hawaii or PR or Alaska that must be shipped USPS for one reason or another, they call us and we tell them to choose the Military option. So our top secret USPS shipping option is labeled at APO/ Military... keeps everyone else away from choosing it.
We also have a little blurb on our shipping page stating those select few can choose the Military shipping option, but we do not want any other customers using it, so maybe in your drop down, label it Freight ... and most everyone will stay away from the option because they have no clue!
maybe Kim Good at SC can help you with that, she's the one that came up with this solution for me. ;o)
