Hi Jennifer,

Great question! I think it will depend on the industry you are in and the keywords you are bidding on, to be honest. According to what I've read on the deal, Yahoo has control over how the Google ads are shown and it's more about filling in ads in areas where Yahoo does not have a lot of advertisers. Some industries may not see any change, some might only for the long tail, product level keywords.

On the whole, I haven't noticed a huge difference that I can attribute back to this agreement. We generally work with all 3 major players (google, yahoo & msn), but if you were only advertising on Google, you might find some traffic increase there. Google also has the most sophisticated tools and reporting, so if you find that you're getting significant Yahoo traffic through Google, it might be worth it as you'll better be able to manage it.

The full impact of this has yet to be seen. I'd encourage other advertisers to share their experience here too!
